This style of chew is cut from the top of a Red Stag antler. This top section is called the crown, and gets its name because it is where a few tines grow in a circular fashion on the top of the antler. The outer edge of a Red Stag crown is dense, but the center contains a soft marrow. This combination provides a great all purpose chew. The dense outside provides hours of chewing time, while the soft marrow is the reward that your dog looks forward too.
