About the Deer:
The Whitetail Deer is the most common deer species in North America. With an estimated 30 million deer, they inhabit all of central and eastern United States, up into Canada, and down into Mexico. When it is alarmed, it runs with its white under tail upward, giving it their name. During the spring, they start growing their antlers, and can grow more than an inch per day in captivity.
Sheds are like fingerprints. They all have the same general shape, but the details are very different. Although the picture shows a general idea, the color and shape will vary.
